Today we immerse ourselves into an Australian icon. Founded more than 15 years ago, The School of St Jude offers a free, high quality education to some of Tanzania’s most disadvantaged students.
Tour the school, meet your sponsor student and join them on their journey home where you will also meet their family.
After morning yoga, we head toward the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Nairobi Giraffe Centre. This is your chance to get up-close-and-personal with these incredible animals. If you’re lucky you might even get a kiss from Ed the giraffe.
After lunch, be inspired by Tommy Nyawir and the heart-warming Mirror of Hope, a community based organisation empowering vulnerable children living in Africa’s largest slum by keeping them in school.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to some of Africa’s best safari icons and today we’ll see the best the region has to offer on our way to the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is Africa’s premier safari park and most famously known for it’s large cat populations and the annual Great Migration. Over the next 2 days we will safari in this infamous safari park, enjoying the magnificent wildlife and scenery.
Ngorongoro Crater is the largest un-broken, un-flooded caldera in the world. Surrounding by 600m high walls and year-around home to every African animal imaginable, the Ngorongoro Crater is often described as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. It is also one of Africa’s 7 natural wonders.
Relax and rejuvenate back at The School of St Jude.
Option to explore the bustling Arusha, Tanzania’s 3rd largest city. Wander the lively streets, try your hand at bartering and eat lunch with the locals.
Rest and Kilimanjaro preparation day.
Travel 2 hours to Moshi, Tanzania. Arrive at World’s Collide Africa House, check in to your room and relax before enjoying a traditional feast on a bonfire.

Challenge yourself on Mt Kilimanjaro, “The Roof of Africa”. See how far you can mentally and physically push yourself, explore the ever changing landscapes, make life-long friends from across the globe and stand on the summit of “The World’s Highest Free Standing Mountain in the World”.
